Before you buy
Yes. Sign in, open your account page, choose Manage billing and cancel your plan on the Stripe billing page. You can also cancel without signing in, or by email: see how to cancel your plan. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep your plan and tokens until the end of the period you've paid for.
We refund duplicate charges, and payments where a fault on our side stopped you using the service. We don't refund a period just because it went unused, but if you live in the EU or the UK you can cancel within 14 days of your first payment and get back the part of the period you haven't had. Only by how many tokens you get and how often you are billed. Every plan, free included, converts images, PDFs and Office files and downloads formatted .docx and .xlsx output.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Yes. You get 10 tokens a day, with or without an account: 10 pages of plain text, or 2 pages of formatted output (tables, lists and headings). It refills every 24 hours.
One page of work costs tokens: a single image is one page, and a PDF counts as one page per page. Plain text OCR costs 1 token per page and formatted output, which preserves tables, lists and headings, costs 5 tokens per page. So a 3 page PDF is 3 tokens in plain mode or 15 in formatted mode.
The conversion is declined and you are shown your remaining balance. Free allowances refill every 24 hours, and a paid plan adds its own allowance on top.
